Sunset Sails Newport, RI

newport ri sunset cruise

If you want to start your cruise in the early evening so that you can enjoy some hours of sun before watching the sunset, you will pay more money. Thus the length of your cruise and the number of days you intend to get out on the water is a very great determinant in the amount of money you will spend. Newport’s sea breeze often starts to moderate towards sunset, so if you’re looking for a calmer and more leisurely cruise, a sunset cruise should fit the bill. Welcome Aboard!

This tour offers a comfy and convenient sunset tour of Newport’s harbor. You can sit back and relax with your loved ones while enjoying the sunset views of the harbor with a glass of wine or fresh cold beer. The Newport harbor sunset tour is an excellent alternative tour for those that are seeking a more relaxed and tranquil experience. One of the questions we field on an almost daily basis is “How many Sunset Sails do you do a day? ” This question always makes us pause and think about potentially offering the wry reply “Well since the sun sets only once a day, we only have one Sunset ail”. However, since we run three sailboats, we often have three sunset sails a day.

Private Charters on Aquidneck

If your group has a good time, feel free to tip the captain/crew. Each cruise company has various limits as per the ages they allow on board. A good example is Champagne cruises which are for people who are 13 years and older. Therefore if you have younger children, you will be forced to book a different cruise. Although we’ll serve a couple of rounds, we aim to create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere for all to enjoy. On Private charters, no drinks are provided, however you may bring your own.
